Cegeka celebrates milestone of over 100 employees in Greece and accelerates growth with two new competence centers
Cegeka, a leading global IT solutions provider, proudly announces a major milestone in its Greek operations. The company’s Athens office, officially open since 2024, but active in Greece for nearly two years, has grown to over 100 employees. This achievement demonstrates Cegeka’s dedication to investing in local talent and strengthening its Global Delivery Center.
“And we’re just getting started,” says Tom De Vos, Executive Vice President of the Global Delivery Center. “With 60 open positions, the launch of a new competence center, and a dedicated support desk, we’re accelerating our growth. We’re also expanding our expertise in Data & AI, Cloud, and Software Development. Plus, with our new academy for young graduates, we’re investing in the next generation of tech talent to help shape the future.”
As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, Cegeka is also exploring plans to open a new office in Thessaloniki. This strategic move will strengthen the company’s presence in Greece and create additional career opportunities for local talent.
Launch Business Solutions competence center
This year, as part of its growth, Cegeka is introducing two new competence centers in Greece. The first is the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Hub, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) developers and consultants. This center is part of Cegeka’s broader Business Solutions competence center, developed in partnership with Microsoft, and aims to empower their customers to become agile and competitive organizations, prepared to thrive in the digital era.
Highlighting the strategic importance of Greece within Cegeka’s broader Business Solutions strategy, Stijn Geeroms, VP Business Solutions at Cegeka, shares his perspective on the company’s ambitions: “We’re constantly looking for capacity and experience to fuel our global growth of the business line Cegeka Business Solutions and to help our customers. Athens, Greece, is a key center of excellence where we’re building talent, expanding our capabilities, and strengthening our offerings across regions. To reinforce that ambition, we gathered here in Greece with our country directors to shape our strategy and long-term plans, supported by a strong local team.”
The second center is the Service Desk with Dutch Hub, dedicated to providing top-tier IT support to digital workplace customers following a B2B service delivery model. The first members of this team joined in late 2024, marking the beginning of an ambitious growth plan. By the end of 2025, Cegeka aims to build a strong team of 30 skilled Dutch-speaking IT professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service to corporate clients in Belgium and The Netherlands.
“In just two years, we’ve grown into a team of over 100 Greek colleagues—a milestone that drives our ambition to keep expanding, and investing in talent.” says Tom De Vos, Executive Vice President of Global Delivery Center.
